Turkey confirms 29 new coronavirus cases

Ankara, Mar 17 : The number of the coronavirus cases diagnosed in Turkey has increased to 47, with 29 new patients found.
Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Monday.
All of the 29 new cases are directly or indirectly in contact with the United States, Europe, or other Middle Eastern countries, said the minister, noting that three of them are among the Umrah visitors from Saudi Arabia.
A Turkish national who returned from Saudi Arabia in the past week was tested positive for the COVID-19, the minister said on Saturday.
Turkey on Sunday confirmed a total of 18 cases of the COVID-19.
