DARAKHSHAN PRESENTS J&K DEVELOPMENTAL ROADMAP TO PRIME MINISTER AT DELHI TODAY

Srinagar:13 March: Senior BJP leader, Member Central Waqf Council, Govt of India Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today had a meeting with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at New Delhi. Dr Darakhshan presented a comprehensive Vision Document regarding J&K to the Prime Minister. Discussing the roadmap regarding development in many important economic sectors in J&K, Dr Andrabi explained the suggested comprehensive plans of action to pave way for creation of jobs, execution of revival projects for handicrafts, horticulture, tourism and industrial sectors etc in the UT. In her Vision Document, Dr Andrabi shared her vision regarding job creations in government and public and corporate sectors for the youth of the Union Territory. She also gave suggestions for revolutionizing the Horticulture Sector in J&K with new schemes and programmes. A comprehensive study for revival of ailing Handicraft sector was also presented to the PM.

She also presented a roadmap to restructure J&K Waqf and requested for a probe in Waqf irregularities in the UT during the past many decades. Dr Andrabi also emphasized the Prime Minister to issue instructions to the J&K administration to constitute a Hindu Shrines Management Board so that the long pending demand of Kashmiri Hindus is met. Prime Minister was kind enough to endorse the vision document and assured the taken on it soon.
