Air traffic resumed after 8 days in Srinagar Airport

Srinagar, Dec 13:The Air traffic on Saturday resumed in Srinagar International Airport after 8 days of suspension an official said.

He said no flights couldn’t have landed or take off in last seven days due to foggy , poor visibility and bad weather, he said the air traffic was resumed early in the morning on Saturday and several flights have landed and take off from the airport.

Nearly 200 hundreds flights have been cancelled in past seven days and thousands of passengers have move back, due to cancellation of flights and thousands of passengers were stranded in the valley.

This is the first time in three decades that no flight have landed or  take off in the Srinagar  for seven days in last three decades earlier the air traffic was remained suspend for 4 days in 1991 due to heavy snowfall
