Sensex dips by 280.90 pts

Mumbai, :  The BSE Sensex tumbled down by 280.90 points to 38,056.11 in early trade on Monday, amid heavy foreign fund outflow amid negative global cues.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too dropped by 80.20 points to 11,339.05.
During the intra day the sensex had crashed by 411 points to 37,926.54 intra day low, at the moment it was slightly recovered and trading at 38,056.11, sliding by 280.90 points from days low figure.
The sectoral indices like materials, FMCG, Finance, Bankex, Capital Goods and Realty dragged the market.
The losers were HDFC by 4.57 per cent to Rs 2198.70, Bajaj Finance by 4.11 per cent to Rs 3185.50, HDFC Bank by 3.35 per cent to Rs 2290.40 and Kotak Bank by three per cent to Rs 1454.75.
The gainers were Yes Bank by 7.39 per cent to Rs 89.40, VEDL by 3.69 per cent to Rs 167, Sun Pharma by 3.42 per cent to Rs 435.95.
