Tokyo, : A fire at an animation studio in Kyoto city on Thursday injured more than 30 people.
The fire started at Kyoto Animation’s studio at around 1030 hrs, company officials said.
According to local police, there are reports that a man entered the facility, poured what appeared to be gasoline around and set fire to it. He has been taken into custody.
Kyoto’s Animation company based in Uji City was founded in 1981. It produces animations, sells anime items and trains animators.
