Rajya Sabha adjourned till 1200 hrs amid AIADMK uproar

New Delhi,:  The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 1200 hrs on Tuesday amid uproar by the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) members who were demanding cancellation of the Postal Department examination and holding it afresh with questions in Tamil language also.
Questions in the examinations were held on Sunday only in Hindi and English language.
Soon after the laying of the papers, the AIDMK lawmakers raised this issue and created a din in the House.
Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu tried to pacify the agitating members and asked them to cooperate in transacting Zero Hours peacefully but AIDMK members did not budge.
Amid the din, the Chairman adjourned the House till 1200 hrs.
The DMK Members also informed the Chair that earlier, Postal Department examinations used to be conducted in all regional  languages of the Southern States.
