Seven, including six army jawan kill in HP building collapse

Solan, :  Seven including six Army jawan were killed while seven are still missing after a building collapsed amid heavy rain, here in Himachal Pradesh, officials said on Monday.
“With the recovery of five more bodies, the toll reached seven including six Armymen,” officials said.
State Government released the figure of the death toll after overnight rescue and relief operation into Sunday’s multistory food eatery collapse.
Press Secretary to Chief Minister of Jai Ram Thakur, Rajiv Thakur confirmed in an update of the tragedy
that out of 30 defence personnel missing, 23 have been retrieved including six dead and 17 injured, adding that
seven more jawan are yet to be rescued.
Out of 12 Civilian all have been rescued including 11 injured and one dead.
The building collapsed on the Nahan-Kumarhatti road, around 1600 hrs on Sunday.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have taken over the rescue, officials added.
