Truck crushes 4 people to death in UP

Kannauj, :  Four members of a family were crushed to death when a garlic-ladden truck fell on their roadside house in Gursahaiganj area of the district on the Grand Trunk (GT) road on Friday early morning.
Police here said that in the incident, three people were also injured and have been rushed to hospital.
Sources said that the accident occurred at around 0300 hrs when the truck, coming from Mainpuri and going towards Kanpur, fell on the roadside house after one of its tyres burst.
The deceased have been identified as Sonelal( 40), his wife Gudiya (38), their eight-year-old son Thagua and their nephew Sahil(10).
The driver of the truck escaped after the accident.
