Three persons die due to electrocution in J&K’s Kupwara

Srinagar,: Three people died and two others were injured critically due to electrocution in frontier district of Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours of Wednesday, official sources said.
They said a high tension (HT) transmission line fell on a local power supply at 0300 hrs at village Nard, Karnah.
Five persons were injured critically after they came in contact with the live wire. The injured were rushed to hospital, where three of them were declared brought dead.
The deceased were identified as 55-year-old Abdul Qadeer, his son Tabir Ahmad Chak, (26) and Nawaz Ahmad.
The injured were being treated in Tangdhar hospital, they said, adding details are awaited.
