Two killed, 7 hurt as car collides with oil tanker in T-District

Suryapet, :  Two people were killed on the spot and seven others seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a oil tanker at Akupamula Village of Munagala Mandal in this district on Thursday midnight.
The victims, hailing from Pathapatnam in Srikakulam district, were en-route to Vijayawada side when the accident occurred, police said.
The injured were admitted to Kodad government hospital and was later shifted to Vijayawada for better treatment.
The deceased were were identified as J Lakshmamma (93) and T Nagamma (55).
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added.
