PM meets German Chancellor Angela Merkel

Osaka (Japan), :  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held bilateral talks with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel here on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.
“Further enriching a cherished friendship. PM Narendra Modi met Chancellor Merkel of Germany on the margins of G20 Osaka Summit,” MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
He also said that both the leader discussed enhancing cooperation in artificial intelligence, E-mobility, cyber security, railway modernisation and skill development.
About his interactions with the Korean President Moon Jae-in, Prime Minister tweeted: “It is always special to meet my good friend, President Moon Jae-in. He is extremely passionate about furthering friendship between India and the Republic of Korea”.
Prime Minister also said – “Today, we talked about various steps to enhance trade, economic and people-to-people relations”.
Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar caught up with his Canadian counterpart Chrystia Freeland.
“A pleasure to catch up with my Canadian counterpart Chrystia Freeland on G20 margins. Look forward to building an even more substantive relationship that reflects both our interests and concerns,” Dr Jaishankar tweeted.
