Well known film actress Vijay Nirmala no more ; Venkaiah, T-CM condoles

Hyderabad, : Yesteryear’s Celebrated film actress and Director Vijay Nirmala died following a heart rpt heart attack while undergoing treatment at a Corporate Hospital here on Thursday.
She was 73.
Vijay Nirmala was the wife of Telugu films Super Star Krishna.
She had acted in over 200 Telugu, Tamil and Malyalam movies quite a few of which were box office hits.
Born in Tamil Nadu on February 20,1946, she made her debut in movies as a child artiste at the tender age of seven years.
She found a place in the Guinness book of world records for being the only woman director to have wielded the microphone for a maximum 44 films.
The actress was recipient of several awards including the coveted ‘Raghupathi Venkaiah’ award, the highest film award of the state government.
Vice President M.Venkaiah Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and several film personalities expressed their grief over the passing away of Vijay Nirmala.
They all recalled her services to South Indian cinema.
