Mumbai, : BSE Sensex on Thursday increased by 166.63 points at 39,760.71 in the opening trade on brisk buying in, Realty, Oil & Gas, Auto, and metal stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too increased by 45.45 points at 11,893.00.
The Sensex registered intra day high and low at 39,767.41 and 39,633.88, respectively.
The NSE registered intra day high and low at 11,839.10 and 11,757.55, respectively.
The Gainers were M&M by 13.75pc, TATAMTRDVR by 1.50 pc, TATAMOTORS by 2.90, Axisbank by 11.05 pc, INDUSINDBK by 19.70 pc.
The losers were TechM by 14.85pc, Powergrid by 2.45 pc, Bhartiartl by 3.20 pc, Reliance by9.05 pc Yes bank by 0.40 pc
