All 55 members of Asia-Pacific Group at UN back India

United Nations, :  In a major diplomatic win for India, all 55 members of the Asia-Pacific Group at UN unanimously endorsed India’s candidature for a non-permanent seat of the Security Council for two-year term.
“A unanimous step. Asia-Pacific Group at the UN unanimously endorses India’s candidature for a non-permanent seat of the Security Council for two-year term in 2021-22,” India’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Syed Akbaruddin said in a tweet.
“Thanks to all 55 members for their support,” the Ambassador further wrote.
