Int’l Yoga Day:PM advocates Yoga for peace, harmony & prosperity, coins 4Ps for maintaining healthy life

Ranchi, : Prime Minister Narendra Modi said let the motto of this year’s International Yoga Day be peace, harmony and prosperity and coined the mantra of four ‘Ps’ Pani, Poshan, Paryavaran and Parishram to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Addressing the main function organised on the occasion of International Yoga Day at the Prabhat Tara grounds here, he said Pani (water), Poshan (nutrition), Paryavaran (environment) and Parishram (hard work) is a must to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The Prime Minister said he was very fortunate to have come to Ranchi on the occasion of the International Yoga Day due to three main reasons apart from his personal attachment with Ranchi. He said one of the main reasons was that the name of Jharkhand itself was synonymous with a ‘Van Pradesh’ and was near to the nature as both Yoga and nature are related to each other.
On the other hand , Ranchi and healthcare have already made a name for themselves in history as on September 23, 2018 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay the Ayushman Bharat Yojana was launched which is the world’s largest healthcare scheme which has become a boon for the poor of the country and called on the people to work together to take Yoga to a different level.
He said Yoga has always been an inseparable part of culture and tradition of the country and pointed that even in Chau dance various Asanas and mudras are shown.
