Serving the party is like a mission, says J P Nadda

New Delhi, : Newly appointed BJP Working President J P Nadda has said that for him
‘serving the party’ is like a mission and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been always an source of inspiration for him.
“Aap ka marg darshan bahut samay se meri prerna ka srot hae (Your guidance has been a mighty source of inspiration for me for long),” Mr Nadda tweeted in response to a Prime Minister’s missive in the micro blogging site complimenting Mr Nadda on his appointment.
“Serving our party BJP is like a ‘sadhana (mission)’ for me,” Mr Nadda said.
The BJP Parliamentary Board, party’s highest policy making body, on Monday selected JP Nadda as working president of the party and allowed incumbent president Amit Shah to continue as regular party chief till December.
In his tweet, Prime Minister wrote on late Monday evening – “Shri JP Nadda is a diligent Karyakarta of the Party, who has risen through the ranks due to his hard work and organisational skills. Humble and affable, he is widely respected across the BJP family. Congratulations to him on becoming the Working President of the Party”.
This is for the first time that the saffron outfit has appointed a working president.
In another tweet, Prime Minister wrote: “I am confident that under the leadership of Shri Amit Shah and Shri JP Nadda, and powered by the hardwork of our Karyakartas, the BJP will continue winning people’s trust and serving our society. We remain committed to building a strong, developed and inclusive India”.
A number of BJP leaders and Union Ministers have congratulated Mr Nadda on being appointed as party’s Working President.
