Twenty-four killed in S Africa road accident

Johannesburg, :  Twenty-four people were killed when a passenger bus hit another vehicle in the northeast region of South Africa, police sources on Monday said.
The collision involving a minibus taxi and a bus in Limpopo, the Department of Transport announced.
It is believed that the occupants of the minibus were returning from Youth Day celebrations in the province when the accident occurred at approximately 2030 hrs on Sunday evening.
“I can confirm that the number of people confirmed dead is 24,” said spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Ayanda-Allie Paine.
