PM to meet Presidents of all political parties on June 19

New Delhi, : The government has called a meeting of presidents of all political parties on June 19 to discuss various issues, including way to improve productivity of Parliament and one nation one election.
In this regard, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi has written a letter to all political party presidents and requested them to attend the meeting.
“It is my pleasure to invite you for a meeting of Presidents of all political parties represented in Parliament on June 19 at 1500 hrs at Parliament complex. The meeting is being called to solicit your views on important subjects, having an impact on the future of our country,” the letter to political parties said.
The letter further added that the subjects covered would primarily include ways to improve the productive of Parliament, One Country One Election, Building of a new India in the 75th year of Independence, Programme and commitments to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary and Development of the aspirational districts.
The letter, however, added that the parties can also raise the issues of national relevance.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present in the meeting.
