Gangtok, : Leader of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party Prem Singh Tamang alias Goley, sworn-in as the new Chief Minister.
Governor Ganga Prasad administered the oath of office and secrecy to him.
This was followed by swearing in ceremony of his Council of Ministers.
Usually the swearing in takes place in Raj Bhawan, but Goley wanted it in open air so that the public can also see the ceremony.
Prominent among those present included BB Gurung 92-year-old politician having deserted Sikkim Democratic Front Party, long time back. D B Chouhan president BJP, Bhaichung Bhutia, president Hamro Sikkim, Dilley Namgyal Kazi president, Sikkim National People’s Party.
