After landslide victory in Andhra, Reddy meets Modi

New Delhi, :  Following his landslide win in the Assembly election, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister-elect Jagan Mohan Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence to invite him for the oath taking ceremony.
He also took up a list of his party’s demands that include fullfillement of special status to Andhra Pradesh, to implement the state reorganization act, funds for Polavaram project, Kadapa steel plant, backward districts, port in Dugarajapatnam, to speed up Metro rail project in Vizag and Vijayawada, sources said.
Discussion about the overall finances of the state and the present condition was also a part of his agenda that include the request to release Rs 30 thousand crores pending bills.
Reddy’s YSR Congress Party has bagged a massive mandate of 151 seats while the TDP has won 23 seats.
Other senior YSRCP leaders were also present in with Mr Reddy.
