Sensex up by 56.81 pts

Mumbai,  :  The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange
on Monday rose by 56.81 points to 37,519.80 on fresh buying in
stocks like Energy, FMCG, IT, Telecom and Technology.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 1.60
points to 11,280.50.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 37,583.57 and
37,319 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 11,300.20 and
11,230.70 points respectively.
The gainers were ITC by 1.39 pc to Rs 301.80, TCS by 1.10 pc to
Rs 2155.90, SBIN by 1.04 pc to Rs 311.85, Hind Unilever by 1 pc to
Rs 1699.75 and Axis Bank by 0.91 pc to Rs 742.20.
The losers were Yes Bank by 3.41 pc to Rs 158.40, Sun Pharma by
2.48 pc to Rs 427, L & T by 2.24 pc to Rs 1324.95 and Tata Motors
DVR by 2.10 pc to Rs 87.40.
