Results of Assembly by-poll may will lead to BJP coming back to power in Karnataka: Yeddyurappa

Hubballi,  :  The victory for the BJP candidates in the Kundagol and the Chincholi Assembly seats for which by-elections are being held on May 19 will pave way to the party to form the Government in the state, BJP strongman B S Yeddyurappa said here on Monday.
Speaking after admitting a few Gram and Taluk Panchayath member from the Congress party into the BJP here, the former chief minister said that “No body can prevent the BJP from forming the government in the state if the party candidates in Kundagol and Chincholi won the seats”.
Dismissing reports that BJP is trying to dislodge the JD(S)-Congress government in Karnataka, he said that “The coalition government, which is a state of coma, will collapse on its own after the Lok Sabha elections”.
“We will not try to destablise the JD(S)-Congress coalition government as it will fell on its own following serious differences within the Alliance partners” he added.
Eshwarappa Yalihal, the Taluk Panchayath member, from Kubihalla TP ward and few members from Dyavanur village panchayath members belonging to the Congress party had joined the Saffron party in the presence of the state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa.
Party nominee for the Kundagol Assembly seat S I Chikkanagoudru, BJP MLA, Basavaraj Bommai and the Lok Sabha member Prahlad Joshi were also present on the occasion.
