Sam Pitroda’s ‘Hua to Hua’ remark self goal for Congress: Mehbooba

Srinagar, :  Describing Congress leader Sam Pitroda’s ‘Hua to Hua’ remark on 1984 riots as a self goal for the grand old party when general elections are underway, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said a wise enemy is better than a foolish friend.
The statement of Sam Pitroda is unacceptable, president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, Ms Mufti said, ‘Just when one thought Cong was maintaining civility in this year’s elections, #HuaToHua happens. Admire Sam Pitroda for his contributions to but trivialising the horrific 1984 riots is unacceptable & a self goal for Congress. A wise enemy is better than a foolish friend”.
However, Congress distanced itself from Mr Pitroda’s remark.
