Ayodhya title case: SC grants mediation panel time till Aug 15

New Delhi,  :  The Supreme Court on Friday gave mediation panel another three months to amicably settle and solve the Ayodhya-Babri title case.
Justice F M I Kalifulla — the panel head of mediation committee — had sought more time to find a cordial and lasting solution to the case.
A five-judge bench, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justices SA Bobde, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer, allowed the plea of the mediation panel and granted them more time till August 15.
The court also noted that it is satisfied with the way the committee also comprising Spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravishankar and senior advocate Sriram Panchu is proceeding.
