Jaipur, : Over 30 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 1100 hrs on Monday in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan.
According to Election Commission, the polling started at 0700 hrs amid tight security. Barmer-Jaisalmer polled the highest -32.58 per cent.
Tonk-Sawai Madhopur bagged 26.23 per cent votes, Ajmer 28.62 per cent, Pali 29.02 per cent, Jodhpur 30.53 per cent, Jalore 30.86 per cent, Udaipur 29.06 per cent, Banswara-Dungarpur 32.36 per cent, Chittorgarh 31.09 per cent, Rajsamand 29.97 per cent, Bhilwara 28.93 per cent, Kota 29.92 per cent and Jhalwaar-Baran 30.01 per cent.
Some EVM malfunctioning was reported at some booths. Those EVMs were replaced.
No untoward incident has been reported so far.
