11.84 per cent polling till 10 A.M. in Bihar

Patna,  : At least 11.84 per cent voters exercised their franchise till 10 A.M. in five constituencies polling today in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha election.

Sources at the Election Office said that Munger constituency recorded highest 14 per cent voting followed by 11.58 per cent in Samastipur (reserved), 11.28 per cent in Ujiarpur, 11.20 per cent in Darbhanga and 11 percent in Begusarai constituency. Overall 11.84 per cent voters cast their votes in the first three hours of voting.

Sources said that reports of EVMs developing snags were received from few booths in Begusarai but polling resumed after problems were sorted out. No major incident of violence had been reported so far.
