Sensex up by 75.97 pts

Mumbai, Apr 23:  The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday rose by 75.97 points at 38,721.15 in opening trade, as buying was seen in Energy, FMCG, Finance, Bankex and Health Care stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too improved by 15.75 points to 11,610.20.
The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 38,832.61 and 38,612.23 points respectively.
