New Delhi, Mar 29 : Congress on Friday fielded Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar from the Mumbai North Lok Sabha constituency.
The decision to field the actress was taken by the Central Election Committee of the Congress.
According to a release issued by the AICC General Secretary Mukul Wasnik, “The Central Election Committee has approved the candidature of Ms Urmila Matondkar as Congress candidate to contest ensuing general election to the Lok Sabha from Mumbai North Parliamentary constituency of Maharashtra.”
