Wathoora Gunfight: LeT commander among two militant killed, operation over

Srinagar, February 13: (GNS) Top LeT commander among two militants were killed in a nocturnal gunfight which raged between militants and goverment forces in Wathoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.

A senior Police official told GNS that two militants were killed in a exchange of firing in Wathoora. However there identification is yet to be ascertained, the officer said.

As per the sources two LeT militants including its commander was killed. Reportedly one among the slain militant is believed to be Hilal Ahmad Alias Abu Maaz resident of Yaripora Kulgam. He was active since 2015.

While the other one is yet to be identified could be a foreigner.
