An alliance between NC-PDP to defend Article 35-A, 370 a welcome move, says Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar,Sept 28: Former finance Minister and senior PDP leader Syed Altaf Bukhari on Friday welcomed the suggestion of J&K Civil Society Coordination Committee for tie up between NC and PDP for formation of the new government in Jammu and Kashmir to defend the Article 35-A and to fight communal forces.

Bukhari said ,“The suggestion of J&K Civil Society Coordination Committee for an alliance of National Conference and PDP for formation of a new government for fighting strongly to protect Article 35-A and challenges to Article 370 are welcome.”

However he made it clear that tie up between NC and PDP for formation of a new government are his personnel views and not of the party.

He also condemned the killing of youth on Thursday reiterating that the killing was a cold blooded murder. He regretted Government of India’s discouraging response to the offer of dialogue from Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying that it is very unfortunate that the offer of dialogue from Pakistan was not responded well by the government.” kns
