SOPORE, FEB 01 : The locals in Rampur area of Sopore on Monday afternoon noticed gas leakage from the area following which the authorities have reached the spot to investigate the matter.

Reports reaching the Kashmir Despatch said that natural gas emerged from the area which caused panic in the area.

We noticed some kind of gas emerging from the area, whole area went into panic and we then called the authorities to investigate the matter, said one the local to Kashmir Despatch.

Meanwhile, authorities told Kashmir Despatch that a team has been sent to the area to investigate the matter and once the team reaches there, we will then come to conclusion.
