LS passes Demands for Grants for Railways

New Delhi, : Lok Sabha on Friday passed the Demands for Grants pertaining to the Ministry of Railways with voice vote.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal while replying to the marathon debate that went on till Thursday midnight thanked the members for sharing their views.
During the debate, several members pressed with their demands of their respective parliamentary constituencies and shared their views on the government policy on Railways.
After Mr Goyal’s detailed reply to the debate, the Demands for Grants was passed by the House.
Speaker Om Birla adjourned the House till 1430 hrs after the passage of the Demands for Grants.
