Singer Hansraj Hans from North West Delhi seat, sitting MP Udit Raj dropped

New Delhi, Apr 23  : BJP on Tuesday named singer Hansraj Hans from North West Delhi Lok Sabha seat dropping sitting MP Udit Raj.
The BJP has now announced the candidates for all the seven Lok Sabha constituencies in the national capital.
BJP on Monday evening sprang a major surprise by fielding former cricketer Gautam Gambhir from East Delhi.
The party also renominated sitting MP Meenakshi Lekhi from New Delhi Lok Sabha seat
Meanwhile, Udit raj, miffed over being denied ticket, has threatened to quit the BJP.
This morning, in a pinned tweet, Mr Raj threatened to say “goodbye to the party” if he was not picked as a candidate for the national election.
The singer is pitted against Congress’ Rajesh Lilothia and Guggan Singh of the AAP.
Nominations can be filed for the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi by 1700 hrs on Tuesday.
The saffron party also announced that Satya Narayan Yadav will contest for the by-election to the Dehri Assembly seat in Bihar.
