Pulwama attack was outcome of desperation and frustration of terrorists: Rajnath

Dehli:17 Feb:The terrorist attack at Pulwama on the CRPF convoys was
the outcome of the frustration and desperation of the terrorists several of whom have
been wiped out during the last five years, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said .
Addressing the booth level workers of the BJP from Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj
and Keonjhar districts in Odisha at Ranital in Bhadrak district today ,Mr Singh said the
CRPF jawans and the Jammu and Kashmir police had done a commendable job in
tackling terrorism in the Kashmir valley.
“I would not give the figures of how many terrorists were killed during the last five
years but can say that several terrorists have been wiped out, the Union Home
Minister said.
The ultras,he said have become desperate and frustrated adding the Pulwama attack
was the outcome of such desperation and frustration.
Mr Singh said the sacrifice of the brave jawans would not go in vain.The whole country
is united and Prime minister Narendra Modi has already given a free hand to the Army to
deal with the perpetrators of the crime and settle the score at the appropriate time to
avenge the killing of the brave jawans.
The sacrifice of the jawans including the two -Prasanna sahu and Manoj Behera from
Odisha will not go waste, the union Home Minister asserted.
Pakistan who is harbouring the terrorists will be frustrated as the country has the full
support of its jawans and the people and everybody wanted the perpetrators of the
crime should be dealt with firm hand and taught a lesson.
The Union Home Minister said the all party meeting convened by him after the
Pulwama attack has unanimously condemned the attack and the whole country stands
by full strength with the martyrs.
Mr Singh visited Eram and offered his tribute to the brave martyrs who had sacrificed
their lives fighting with the British Raj.
